In 1907 the Société grand-ducale de Botanique and the Société des naturalistes Luxembourgeois merged. From that date onwards, the Bulletin of the Société des naturalistes took over and maintained the original part numbers of the Fauna between brackets. First a monthly, the Bulletin becomes a yearly in 1946.

Volumes between 1907 and 2011 have been retro-digitised by the National Library. Later volumes are available in the public spaces of the National Library or online.

Since volume 122 (2020) articles are issued after an online first publication model. Validated articles are published on the Société des naturalistes luxembourgeois' website. At the end of each year, the articles are assigned to a regular volume, then printed and sent to its members.
