Heinrich Oberhoffer (1824-1885), organist at the Cathedral in Luxembourg, founded the magazine Cäcilia and acted as its editor from 1862 to 1871. He published articles by international peers along with his own essays on Gregorian chant, organ building, bellfounding, singing lessons, church music guidelines, etc.
