Edited by J. Gusenburger in German, this newspaper was issued three times a week between 1898 and 1916. The publication aimed to defend minor civil servants and urged employees to get organised. It was the first newspaper with local character, which can be seen from its motto Lokal-Anzeiger für Hollerich, Bahnhofviertel u. Umgegend. On the 31st of december 1916, it was succeded by the newspaper Die Volkstribüne (1916-1919).
